Stuart Bingham needed a good start but that's so so sloppy. He's short on a pink to the middle.
Jak Jones is in and the reds are fanned out so well even a pub player would fancy making 30.
I'd have made at least eight from this.
Jones is rapidly into his 40s.

Class is permanent and all that. A two-frame deficit is nothing for a man of Stuart Bingham's calibre.
But he needs to raise his game quickly.
Play resumes. Four to play.

BBC commentatorWhen Jak Jones does make an occasional mistake it does not linger with him. There is no mental hangover from previous misses when he comes back to the table. In many ways it is reminiscent of John Higgins at his best.
His personality is tailor-made for this area. He is an even-tempered guy, so you don't get the wild sparks of joy or the lows and that is serving him well in this match.
The level of composure he is showing is extraordinary for the amount of experience he has.

Maybe it's because he's the favourite.
Nine times out of 10 he wins the frame from the position he was in when he missed the black off the spot.
He has to dictate the pace of play. He is letting Jak Jones dominate the patterns of play with long bouts of safety.

The final frame before the mid-session interval is under way. And Jak Jones gets in instantly with a sumptuous long red.
I'd say he's been slightly more consistent than Stuart Bingham in this match-up. He's not let a few bad shots affect him too much.
"He's unflappable," says Shaun Murphy.
But the Welshman's break ends on 16 in really unlucky circ*mstances as he crashes in a red and goes in off the blue.
