Can you view lab results on Quest? ›

Quest will send an email notification as soon as all results are available for review. You can view the results in the MyQuest app or log in to questhealth.com and view the Quest Results page. You can also check the status of your results on the same web page.

If results are concerning, they may call you or have a receptionist call to schedule an appointment. 15 A healthcare provider may also call to assure you everything is okay or discuss any needed follow-up tests.

You can print a lab test result while viewing your list of lab test results on the Results page or while viewing the lab test results report. To print from the Results page: 1 Click next to the lab test result you want to print, and then select Print PDF.

Viewing Quest results in Elation: Reports Queue

Any abnormal results will be flagged in the Report queue with red text.

On lab printouts, labs that are abnormal are indicated with a mark. There is often an empty column with marks identifying which rows contain abnormal bloodwork results. The mark may be an asterisk, or an "H" for high or "L" for low or "A" for abnormal.

Note: If you specified Do Not Report or DNR, that information will not appear in the report, but DNR is included with the HL7 results that can be downloaded as described in Accessing Patient Test Results or via Lightning .

How do you know if you passed a pre-employment drug test? If none of the substances being tested for were found in your specimen, your drug test results will be negative. Checkr's candidate portal allows candidates to conveniently check whether their employee drug testing results were negative or positive.

How do you know if you failed a drug test? If you fail a drug test, you will be notified by the employer who requested the test. If the employer partners with a background check company, like Checkr, to perform the test, they will notify you in writing if the failed drug test results in adverse action.

Getting your blood test results

You may get your blood test results after a few days, and usually within a few weeks. If you do not hear anything after a few weeks, contact the GP surgery or specialist. The GP, nurse, or specialist should talk to you about your results and explain what happens next.
